VISUAL STANDARDS & DESIGN

We have deliberately designed our interface to maximize legibility and visual accessibility through a high-contrast dark mode system.

  • Color Contrast: Our primary palette utilizes a high-contrast combination of Off-White text (#ececec) against a Black background (#000000). This pairing yields a contrast ratio of 17.8:1, significantly exceeding the WCAG AA requirement of 4.5:1.

  • Legibility: This specific color combination was chosen to reduce eye strain and "halation" (blurriness) often caused by pure white text on dark backgrounds, ensuring a sharper reading experience for all users.

CONFORMANCE STATUS

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.

Reso Skincare is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content may not fully conform to the accessibility standard. We are actively working to increase the accessibility and usability of our website.
